JSellurs Mobile Applications

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications developed and published by JSellurs ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our apps.

IMPORTANT: By using any JSellurs application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Different apps collect different types of information as detailed below.

Our Applications

1. Information Collection by App Type

Apps with Minimal/No Data Collection

Most JSellurs apps collect minimal or no personal data. These apps:

• Store all data locally on your device only
• Do not transmit data to our servers
• Do not collect personal information
• Do not use analytics or tracking
• Do not share data with third parties

What happens to your data: All events, entries, and information you create remain on your device. Deleting the app removes all data.

Apps with AI-Powered Features (VibeMaker)

Information You Provide:

• Playlist Descriptions: Your natural language requests (e.g., "workout vibes," "chill Sunday afternoon")
• Music Preferences: Genre preferences, tempo preferences, mood indicators
• Spotify Account: Connection to your Spotify account (via OAuth)
• Account Data: Apple ID (via RevenueCat for subscription management)

Automatically Collected Information:

• Usage Data: Number of playlists generated, dates of generation
• Spotify Data: Your Spotify listening history, saved tracks, and preferences (with your permission)
• Subscription Status: Current tier, renewal dates, payment status
• Device Information: Device model, iOS version (for compatibility)
• Performance Data: Crash reports and diagnostics

Data Shared with Third-Party AI Services:

What we send to Anthropic (Claude AI):

• Your playlist description/request (e.g., "late night study music")
• Your music preferences (genre, tempo, mood)
• Context about your request (time of day, activity type if specified)

What we send to Spotify:

• Generated playlist data (song selections, playlist name)
• Your Spotify user ID (to save playlists to your account)
• Playlist metadata (descriptions, cover images)

Why we share this data: To process your playlist request through AI analysis and save the generated playlist to your Spotify account.

Your consent: Before first use, VibeMaker will ask for your explicit permission to share this data with third-party AI services. You can decline, but the app will not function without AI processing.

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• Your name, email address, or contact information (unless you contact support)
• Precise location or GPS data
• Photos, camera, or microphone access
• Browsing history or activity across other apps/websites
• Payment information (handled entirely by Apple)
• Full Spotify listening history (only used for playlist generation, not stored)

Apps with Standard Data Collection (Rev Advisor)

Some JSellurs apps, like Rev Advisor, provide cloud-based features and collect additional data to function properly.

Information You Provide:

• Vehicle Information: Year, make, model, engine type, current horsepower
• Usage Preferences: Budget amounts and intended use
• Account Data: Apple ID (via RevenueCat for subscription management)

Automatically Collected Information:

• Usage Data: Number of reports generated, dates of generation
• Subscription Status: Current tier, renewal dates, payment status
• Device Information: Device model, iOS version (for compatibility)
• Performance Data: Crash reports and diagnostics

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• Your name, email address, or contact information (unless you contact support)

2. How We Use Your Information

For Apps with Minimal Data Collection

We do not use your data because we do not collect it. All processing happens locally on your device.

For AI-Powered Apps (VibeMaker)

Generate Playlists:

• Send your playlist description to Claude AI for analysis and song recommendations
• Process your music preferences to match appropriate songs
• Create and save playlists to your Spotify account
• Store generated playlists for quick access within the app

Improve AI Recommendations:

• Analyze which playlists you save vs. discard (anonymous aggregation only)
• Understand common playlist requests to improve AI prompts
• Optimize song matching algorithms based on user satisfaction

Manage Subscriptions:

• Track subscription tier and monthly usage limits
• Process renewals and cancellations
• Verify entitlements before generating playlists

Provide Support:

• Respond to support requests and technical issues
• Assist with Spotify connection problems
• Communicate important updates

For Apps with Standard Data Collection (Rev Advisor)

Provide Services:

• Process vehicle details through AI services to generate recommendations
• Store generated reports for access within the app
• Enable you to save and reference past recommendations

Manage Subscriptions:

• Track subscription tier and monthly usage limits
• Process renewals and cancellations
• Verify entitlements before generating reports

Improve the App:

• Understand usage patterns to enhance features
• Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and technical issues
• Optimize performance across devices and iOS versions
• Develop new features based on popular use cases

Provide Support:

• Respond to support requests and technical issues
• Assist with subscription questions
• Communicate important updates

3. Third-Party Services

Apps with Minimal Data Collection

These apps do not use third-party services that collect user data.

AI-Powered Apps (VibeMaker)

Anthropic Claude AI (Playlist Generation)

• Purpose: Processes your playlist descriptions and music preferences to generate personalized song recommendations using advanced artificial intelligence
• Data Shared:
  • Your playlist description (e.g., "late night study vibes")
  • Music preferences (genre, tempo, mood)
  • Context information (activity type, time of day)
• Data Retention: Anthropic processes requests in real-time and does not store or train AI models on your data
• Data Usage: Used solely to generate playlist recommendations for your specific request

• Your Control: You must explicitly consent before we share data with Anthropic. You can revoke access in app settings (app will not generate playlists without AI)

Spotify (Music Platform Integration)

• Purpose: Connects to your Spotify account to save AI-generated playlists and access your music preferences for better recommendations
• Data Shared:
  • Playlist data (songs, playlist names, descriptions)
  • Your Spotify user ID and display name
  • Your saved tracks and listening preferences (read-only with your permission)
• Authentication: Uses OAuth 2.0 - we never see your Spotify password
• Data Retention: Spotify stores playlists according to their terms. We do not permanently store your Spotify data.

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

• Purpose: Manages subscription payments, status, and entitlements
• Data Shared: Apple ID, subscription tier, renewal dates

Apple App Store

• Purpose: Handles all payment processing
• Data Shared: Payment information processed entirely by Apple; we never see it

Apps with Standard Data Collection (Rev Advisor)

• Purpose: Manages subscription payments, status, and entitlements
• Data Shared: Apple ID, subscription tier, renewal dates

• Purpose: Processes vehicle information to generate upgrade recommendations using Claude AI

• Purpose: Handles all payment processing
• Data Shared: Payment information processed entirely by Apple; we never see it

4. Data Storage and Security

Apps with Minimal Data Collection

• All data stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage
• No data transmitted to external servers
• Data deleted when you delete the app

AI-Powered and Standard Data Collection Apps

• Encryption: All data transmitted between app and servers uses SSL/TLS encryption
• Secure Storage: Data stored on secure servers with restricted access
• Access Controls: Only authorized personnel can access user data for support/technical purposes
• AI Processing: Third-party AI services process data in real-time without permanent storage

While we implement reasonable security measures, no electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

Apps with Minimal Data Collection

Data remains on your device until you delete the app. We do not store data on our servers.

AI-Powered Apps (VibeMaker)

• Active Subscriptions: Generated playlists retained while subscription is active
• Cancelled Subscriptions: Playlist data deleted 30 days after cancellation
• Spotify Connection: Connection token revoked immediately upon disconnect
• AI Processing: Anthropic processes requests in real-time and does not retain your data
• Account Deletion: All personal data permanently deleted within 30 days

Apps with Standard Data Collection (Rev Advisor)

• Active Subscriptions: Data retained while subscription is active
• Cancelled Subscriptions: Data deleted 30 days after cancellation
• Generated Reports: Stored for 90 days or until account deletion
• Account Deletion: All personal data permanently deleted within 30 days

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Limited Sharing

We may share data only in these circumstances:

Service Providers (AI-Powered and Standard Apps Only):

• With Anthropic to generate AI recommendations (playlist descriptions or vehicle data only)
• With Spotify to save playlists to your account (VibeMaker only)
• With RevenueCat to manage subscriptions
• With cloud hosting providers to store app data securely

Important: These third parties are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it for the specific purposes we authorize.

Legal Requirements (All Apps):

• When required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights, safety, or property
• In response to government requests
• To prevent fraud or abuse

Business Transfers (All Apps):

If JSellurs is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred. You will be notified of any such change.

7. Your Privacy Rights

For All Apps

• Delete the App: Removes all locally stored data immediately
• Don't Track: We do not track users across apps or websites for advertising

For AI-Powered and Standard Data Collection Apps

• Access Your Data: Request a copy of data we store about you
• Delete Your Data: Request deletion of your account and all data
• Export Your Data: Download generated playlists/reports and information
• Correct Your Data: Update inaccurate information
• Revoke AI Consent: Disconnect third-party AI services (app functionality will be limited)
• Disconnect Spotify: Revoke Spotify access at any time (VibeMaker only)
• Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from communications

8. Children's Privacy

JSellurs apps are not intended for users under 18 (or under 13 for apps without data collection). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us immediately.

9. International Users

JSellurs apps are operated in the United States. If you are accessing from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

By using our apps, you consent to transfer of your information to the United States and acknowledge that U.S. privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

Note for AI-Powered Apps: Third-party AI services (Anthropic) may process data in their own secure facilities. Spotify processes data according to their global privacy practices.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under CCPA:

• Right to Know: Request information about data we collect and share
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information
• Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We won't discriminate for exercising rights

Typical Labels:

• Minimal Data Apps: "Data Not Collected" or "Data Not Linked to You"
• AI-Powered Apps (VibeMaker): Lists playlist descriptions, music preferences, Spotify data, subscription data
• Standard Data Apps (Rev Advisor): Lists vehicle data, usage data, subscription data

Always check the App Store listing for the specific app you're using to see its exact data practices.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:

• The "Effective Date" at the top will be updated
• Material changes will be communicated through affected apps or via email
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
